Cloudy24
Our Green Commitment

We know hosting
has a footprint.
We're reducing it.

Every server draws power. Every data centre requires cooling. We're not going to pretend we've solved the problem — but we're making concrete, trackable steps to shrink our environmental impact year on year.

The actual work

Four things we're doing right now

Infrastructure

Renewable-ready data centres

Our primary Mumbai data centre is located within a facility that sources a growing share of its power from renewable grids. We are actively working to move 100% of our infrastructure to verified renewable-energy sourced facilities by 2026.

Hardware

Modern hardware — less power per site

We run the latest-generation server processors and NVMe SSD storage. Newer hardware delivers significantly more performance per watt compared to older equipment — meaning fewer servers, less cooling, and a lower carbon footprint for every website we host.

Contribution

Tree planting with every account

A portion of every Cloudy24 subscription goes toward funding reforestation projects in India. We plant trees on behalf of our customers — tracking each batch and reporting the cumulative total publicly on this page. No third-party certification yet, but real trees in the ground.

Efficiency

LiteSpeed — faster and greener

LiteSpeed Web Server processes requests using significantly fewer CPU cycles than Apache or Nginx for the same workload. Faster responses mean shorter active server time per visitor — which translates directly into lower energy consumption across our fleet.

We'll be straight with you

We don't have third-party carbon certifications yet. We haven't published a formal sustainability report. Our data centres aren't 100% renewable-powered today.

But we think being honest about where we are — and what we're working toward — is more valuable than a badge that overstates reality. The steps on this page are real, the tree count is real, and the roadmap below is our public commitment.

We're a small team moving as fast as we responsibly can.
